Amanojaku Megiddo appeared in 2022 spin-off series called Kamen Rider Saber Spin-off: Kamen Rider Sabela & Kamen Rider Durendal. He's actually Rui Mitarai (御手洗るい, Mitarai Rui) who's the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Saber Spin-off: Kamen Rider Sabela & Kamen Rider Durendal. He was a member of the Sword of Logos who was previously engaged to Reika Shindai, and transforms into the Amanojaku Megiddo (天邪鬼メギド, Amanojaku Megido).
Rui was born into the Mitarai clan, one of the most distinguished families of the Sword of Logos on par with the Shindai family. At some point, Rui obtained the Amanojaku Alter Ride Book from the Southern Base and used its power to kill his own uncle. However in the shuffle, he was intercepted by Ren Akamichi and accidentally dropped a pen with his family's crest.
After rearranging his family's assets, he set up a political marriage with Reika Shindai, but his treachery was discovered by Ryoga Shindai who then confronted him by crashing the wedding. After Rui transformed into the Ananojaku Megiddo, he is defeated by Sabela and Durendel, and asked by Reika to turn over to a new leaf.
Rui is a well-kept man, as befitting of his status as a member of a distinguished family. He told Reika that he wanted to upload peace and claimed to have possessed similar idealistic values as her.
However in reality, he was actually disillusioned with the world order itself and wanted to change it by having high influence in the Sword of Logos, leading to him personally murdering his uncle to do so. His marriage with Reika was part of his ploy to gain control in not only his family but also another high-profile family, the Shindai family in this case.
