Archen appeared in 2010 video game called Pokémon Black & White. Archen is the First Bird Pokémon. Although modern-day flying Pokémon are descended from Archen, this ancient Pokémon could not truly fly. It used its wings to glide between trees or swoop onto opponents from above.
Archen is a bipedal red, yellow, and blue feathered prehistoric bird-like Pokémon with a large red beak with protruding fangs, 3-taloned feet and a blue tail. It is covered mainly in yellow feathers, with some red and blue plumage on its wings and tail. The back of its head is blue, and it has large round eyes with black pupils. It has claws on its wing-like hands.
