The Axe Megas appeared in 1984 TV series called Choudenshi Bioman. The Axe Megas (アックスメガス Akkusumegasu) is a Neo Mecha-Gigan of Neo Empire Gear, piloted by Mason.
The Axe Megas is sent by Doctor Man after Jun defeats the upgraded Psygorn with the car he used for his psychic attacks on her. After a short battle, Bioman decides to test their new Bio Particle Cut on the Neo Mecha-Gigan; though with difficulty in making it work, they succeed in using Super Maser's new finisher to defeat the Megas.

A mecha with an ax for the right hand, a knife for the left hand, and an energy beam from the eye called the Axe Megas beam.
