Bakuki appeared in 1994 TV series called Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. Bakuki (バクキ Bakuki) is a Yokai sent to capture the urn that held Ninjaman. After Ninjaman was released, Bakuki transported both himself and Ninjaman to his illusionary and nightmarish domain of flames with a red sky. He made the mistake of enraging Ninjaman. He was killed by Samuraiman & Super Kakure Daishogun.
Bakuki reappeared, along with all the other defeated Yokai, within the Seal Door after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity.
