The Bakun Sea Urchin appeared in 2012 TV series called Toriko. The Bakun Sea Urchin (バクンウニ) is a lively breed of sea urchin-like fish with a very hostile nature.
Despite its name, the Bakun Sea Urchin is actually classified as a fish, but has the round and spiky appearance of a sea urchin. It has purple skin and a large mouth filled with sharp pointy teeth and orange lips and it appears to lack eyes or fins. It is also quite large, shown to be even bigger than Sunny in size who is 187 cm tall (6.13 feet).
It has a harsh predatory rivalry with the Shrimpfly, and both creatures will immediately attack and try to eat one another upon encounter. When in battle with a Shrimpfly it will ignore anything else in the vicinity and focus only on its adversary, but if another being interferes in its fight it will attack the nuisance.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Bakun Sea Urchin has a mouth full of razor sharp teeth to attack prey with and it is also an incredibly fast swimmer, capable of releasing strong blasts of water from its rear and can swim at a speed that rivals that of the Shrimpfly. It can also fire the spikes on its body like projectiles towards it prey for long distance attack.
