The Batsaurus appeared in 2012 TV series called Toriko. The Batsaurus is a giant mammalian bat beast used by warden Love of Honey Prison as an A-Ranked Execution Beast, charged with the duty of guarding the prison and executing prisoners.
It is a giant bat-like creature with purple skin, a rotund body waist and red wings. It has a rather ghastly face with pitch black eyes, a pig-like nose, and an always open mouth which gives it a ghost-like moaning expression. Honey Prison staff outfits them with pale, yellow-colored armor and turquoise clothing with two blue gems on the belly. Its armor consists of a helmet with two horns, gauntlets, shoulder pads, leggings and bottom covers.
They have rather eccentric personalities, usually popping out at random times while making silly squeaks. They are easily susceptible to Love's pheromones making them docile and non-aggressive unless ordered to, and will follow all of Love's and the prison staff's commands without question. Their behavior in the wild is unknown.
When Toriko and Komatsu went to Honey Prison to release Zebra, they saw a few Batsauruses randomly flying about during their tour through the prison. They later witnessed Zebra's failed execution, which involved his limbs being pulled off by several beasts, including a Batsaurus. However Zebra easily incapacitated the beasts with his sound-based attacks.
Powers and Abilities[]
It is a creature of great strength, strong enough to deal with prisoners and defend against the beasts of Death Season Forest. As an execution beast, it has the strength to tear apart prisoners limb from limb.
