The Café Ants appeared in 2013 TV series called Toriko. The Café Ants (カフェアリ Kafeari) are insect beasts that were supposedly extinct and revived by Teppei. The ants can be eaten raw, however by adding hot water to them they make a perfect café. Their thoraxes are made of coffee beans; their heads are filled with milk; their abdomens are made of syrup.
