The Dark Woods Wolves are a species of large, supernatural wolves which also have vaguely leonine features. They're native to the realm known as the Dark Woods, accessible by a portal beyond Sherwood Forest. Like regular wolves, they hunt in packs. However, they appear to be far more dangerous, as they intentionally target humans who venture into the Dark Woods. When killed, their bodies immediately disintegrate in a flash of red sparks.
