Eric Brooks aka Blade appeared in the 1973 comic book called The Tomb of Dracula. He is the main protagonist from the movie of the same name and its two sequels as well, he is a half-human and half-vampire (or alternatively known as a Dhampir) that hunts pure evil vampires to protect the Earth from bloodsuckers. He is portrayed by Wesley Snipes.
