Night Fang appeared in 2019 TV series called Ultraman Taiga. Night Fang (ナイトファング Naito Fangu) is a bat-like kaiju that appears in episode 8 of Ultraman Taiga.
Night Fang was a monster that can emit sound waves that will cause humans to get caught to their nightmares. It was sealed at Kuzuryu Village in ancient times by a shaman, who used the power of a shining sword to trap it within a mountain.
Many years later, it is both revered and feared by the villagers, who call it by the name Akame-sama (様 lit. Master Red-Eyes). An Alien Babarue and his accomplice Alien Hook disguised as ordinary humans to unleash Night Fang, but they needed to use the net idol Ai Tennoji's powers, since she was the reincarnation of the shaman who once sealed away Night Fang. To that end, the Babarue posed as her manager. Eventually, the aliens took off their disguises and forced Ai to unseal Night Fang, who reappeared under an eclipse after the aliens were dealt with. It easily blasted Ultraman Fuma down with its fireballs and fought against Ultraman Taiga, but Taiga was no match for it.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Fang Wave (ファングウェイブ Fangu Ueibu): Night Fang releases waves from its top eye, that can induce nightmares. They are also strong enough to knock back an Ultra.
- Fireballs: Night Fang shoots fireballs from the top of its head.
