The Non-Terrestrial Intelligence appeared in the 1989 movie called The Abyss. While the N.T.I. are without offensive capabilities individually, they have access to advanced technology capable of such Earth-altering feats as changing the weather and creating tsunamis. It is believed that they allow human civilization to exist for entertainment purposes.

Pure clear crystal based manta ray like aliens with spots of bright color, three long ropes hanging of a spade shaped tail, a skeletal humanoid upper body with insect like arms, three fingered hands and a small bird like skullish head with a green stone used for a nose, rounded blue eyes and a pink brain with a red orb set in the middle that give off a purple glow.
