Note-kun appeared in 2020 TV series called Yo-kai Watch Jam - Yo-kai Academy Y: Close Encounters of the N Kind. Note-kun (Japanese: ノートくん Nōto-kun) is an Onryo of an undetermined tribe and Attribute introduced in Yo-kai Watch Jam - Yo-kai Academy Y: Close Encounters of the N Kind. Note-kun has a form he became when he was filled with anger called Gesu Note (Japanese: ゲスノート Gesunōto).
Note-kun has another form, Gespider (Japanese: ゲスパイダー Gesupaidā), when he was inspirited by a dark energy imbued in a strand of Haruhiko's hair.
In his first form as Note-kun he looks like a bipedal notebook with blue arms and feet, and flaming spirit that was used as a bookmark. As Gesu Note his outer rim of his body is now colored purple, has for arms, three red eyes and Cheshire-like grin. As Gespider he looks like a purple spider with four eyes and sharp fangs.
Note-kun first appears in YG004, where a mysterious student writes down the names of people around the school on it, causing them to do bad things.
